It is back to school so there are a few new things to worry about. A big concern in our house is lice. As you can see in the video, we have A Lot of Hair in our house! The best way to deal with lice is to not get it in the first play. We have come up with a few easy tips to help prevent lice. There is not fool proof guarantee, but it has helped us in the past when lice was going through the class room and being passed back and forth by the kids.
You can buy Tea Tree Shampoo, but they can get pricey.
A very easy way to make your own is to grab whatever shampoo that you like and add 2 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil for every ounce of the shampoo. Mix well and use as you would any shampoo.
To make a lice preventing spray:
Pour 1 cup distilled water into a clean spray bottle
Add 10 to 15 Drops Tea Tree Essential oil and shake
Use around the base of the neck and hairline twice a day.
With just a little effort you can, hopefully, prevent lice from entering your house.
