Here is an easy and inexpensive way to create a Lazy Susan using Dollar Store finds!
Inspiration can come anywhere! While at the Dollar Store looking for DIY ideas, I purchased two round cake pans and thought about a jar of marbles I had at home. Check out what we did in under 2 minutes!
Simply place marbles in one cake pan and place the other pan on top to create and easy and inexpensive Lazy Susan. The more marbles, the better the top pan spins.
- Store spices or canned goods.
- Organize vitamins or medications.
- Create a coffee and tea station with sweetener, creamer, tea bags, and mugs.
- Use as a condiment tray during meal time.
In the bathroom:
- Store nail polishes.
- Display makeup brushes with frequently used makeup.
In the office:
- Use as a desk organizer with jars containing pens, paper clips, binder clips, note paper.
In the craft area:
- Provide easy access to supplies like glitter, glue, spools of thread.
- Keep markers, pens, pencils in separate holders on the Lazy Susan.
In the garage:
- Pool smaller jars of nails, screws, cup hooks, and other hardware.
These pans can be spray painted to match any décor or left plain for a more industrial look.
