I love accessorizing! I don’t feel fully dressed without a bit of bling. The problem is what to do with all of those cute necklaces, bracelets, and earrings to keep them in sight and organized. After finding a perfect spot in my closet for displaying my costume jewelry, I covered 12×12 adhesive cork tiles with decorative 12×12 scrapbook paper using glue dots and attached the cork tiles to the wall. Cup hooks were inserted into the cork tiles to make hooks to hang necklaces and bracelets. (Please make sure the tiles are thick enough to insert the cup hooks.)

Earrings were a bit trickier. I racked my brain and decided that the clear pockets in a hanging jewelry organizer would be the perfect solution to corral my earrings. The jewelry organizer hangs on the closet rod near the cork tiles. Now my jewelry is organized, visible, and accessible!


Accessible Earrings
Leave the cork tile bare, or get creative with scrapbook paper or fabric that suits your style. If you don’t want to stick tiles to your walls, use a thin piece of plywood and hang it on a wall. The possibilities are as endless as your imagination!
