DIY Homemade Magic Eraser Recipe
My fascination with Magic Erasers started when I had kids. Those kids always seem to make the biggest messes and the sponges never let me down. But, the sponges seem to disintegrate very quickly when being used. I found myself buying them weekly at the grocery store. In my frugal nature, I decided to see how I could save some money on the product that I use daily. My first thought was to find a generic alternative to my name brand that worked the same. It turns out that the magic sponges are made from Melamine Foam. I found a 100 pack on Amazon for about $8! Yes, that is great! I just need to buy another cabinet to store a hundred sponges until I can use them all. And, they disintegrate as quickly as the name brands. So, I kept looking and found a few recipes to make my own “magic erasers”.

We love knowing what ingredients are actually in the products we are using. The less harsh chemicals, the better. Thank you for your comment!
